Education Scholarships
Our child sponsorship and educational scholarships in Zambia are an empowerment and intervention project that we utilize to provide the most vulnerable children in Zambia with a wholistic educational experience that they would otherwise not be able to have due to their dire social economic backgrounds.
A significant proportion of the beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries on this project are either single or double orphans due to parent(s) having been deceased or suffering severely from the effects of HIV/AIDS.
The remainder of the children that we have shortlisted or select for scholarships/sponsorship are from very poor homes that survive and live on less than $2 per day therefore despite being more than capable of obtaining an education they are not able to due to their social economic background.
This project provides children aged from 4-18 years of age with the all educational related costs such as:
Tuition, User Fees, Boarding Fees, Parent Teacher Association Fees
Uniforms, Shoes, Backpacks
Medical costs, School Meals
Books, Stationary
Transportation Costs, School Trips
Examination Fees
Once children obtain and achieve their high school diploma their sponsors/donors have the option of continuing to support them through Higher Education at either a college or University. At times when this is not possible our organisation liaises with the relevant Ministry related to the subject/course they wish to pursue in higher education to provide a Government bursary for the pupil.
